Jessica Seinfeld’s charity “Baby Buggy” is the charity that will benefit from Mommy to be Jewel’s large donation of thousands of nursing bras in collaboration with Bravado! Designs. all clothing will be distributed to mothers in need in Dallas, Texas.

As Barbara Beaty, RN, MS, and Case Management Manager of the Dallas NFP (Natural Family Planning) says, “Our clients will be beaming when they receive these items, especially knowing that they came from one new mom to another. we wish Jewel all the best and are excited for her to welcome her son into the world!”
The American Academy of Family Physicians has a 2007 study where the absence of breastfeeding is associated with acute otitis media (ear infections), gastroenteritis (stomach flu), atopic dermatitis (eczema), and severe lower respiratory infections, necrotizing enterocolitis, and sudden infant death syndrome. They also state that the health effects of breastfeeding persist beyond the period of breastfeeding. Children who were not breastfed are at increased risk of obesity, type 1 and 2 diabetes, asthma, and childhood leukemia.20
